Massey Ferguson 50th Celebrations
50 years ago last November the famous MF Triple Triangle made its distinguished debut. A few months later in March 1958, the new Massey Ferguson company was created - born of its then 110 year Massey Harris Ferguson pedigree.
To mark such a momentous occassion Massey Ferguson invited dealers from all over Europe, Africa and the Middle East to the magnificent setting of Chateau Les Fontaines near Chantilly in France. Now a residential training centre, this was once a Rothschilds home.
A presentation highlighted 50 years of what has become one of the world's most famous and outstanding brands and its contribution to the advancement of farm machinery technology and inovation.
Day two was a visit to Beauvais to view the factory including enhanced manufacturing, engineering, research and design facilities. In addition to a new international training center, driving track and Visitor Technology Center.
Directors Chris Reekie and Sam Mercer congratulated all those who made the event such a success.
