A presentation was made to Sales Director, Sam Mercer and Lorry Driver, Ian Tough on reaching the milestone of over 25 years with The Reekie Group.
Ian joined the company with Stirling Tractors in 1980 and readily admits it was "only until something better came along". Originally Ian was taken on as a yardsman, taking on driving duties, when one of 4 lorry drivers employed then, retired. Now Ian is the sole lorry driver delivery equipment over the whole of Scotland!
In that time Ian has driven 5 different lorries and has an exemplary record on the highways and byways.
Sam joined Stirling Tractors 2 years later as a Salesman. His progress continued when Farmec Perth opened Sam went as Branch Manager at Glenearn Road and on Alex Armstrong’s retiral took charge of Cupar as well.
In 2001 Sam was appointed Sales Director.
