88 Years Joint Service
It seems Janet Bryce and Margaret Warner have been ever present members of the staff at Reekie Stirling since the Battle of Bannockburn! The staff held a retiral party in their honour where they were presented with a staff collection, framed panaoramic photos of the area and individual gifts from the company. Reekie Stirling staff all sporting t-shirts emblazoned with photos of Janet and Margaret sent them off in style.
Janet and Margaret have left they’re oot
They’ll be missed when no longer aboot.
88 years here, a record hard to be surpassed
It’s a miracle with us lot you managed to last.
They’ve moved plenty times, changed their roles
Through it all they’ve remained cheerful soles.
Their rollercoster will now end
A new life awaits around the last bend.
So off they go into the twilight zone
No more exchequer, faxes or phone.
To Enjoy retirement it’s truly deserved
Their contribution here will be preserved.
A bottle of campers helped them go out in style
it sent them off with a smile.
They enjoyed their evening they had some fun
at the finishing tape of their marathon run.
